I laid low this year on my baseball picks. Only 2 picks.
So that's it. Now I just sit back and watch YES & TBS. Current Mood: contemplative

Well, here are the Over / Unders on the total wins this year?
ATL 8.5 - AZ 8 - BAL 8 - BUF 6.5 - CAR 10 - CIN 8.5 - CHI 9.5 - NYG 9 - WAS 9
DAL 9.5 - PHI 8.5 - MIN 8 - DET 6.5 - TB 8.5 - NO 6.5 - SEA 10.5 - STL 7 - SF 5
NE 10.5 - MIN 9 - NYJ 6 - PIT CLOSED - CLE 6.5 - IND 11.5 - JAX 9 - TEN 5
HOU 5.5 - DEN 10 - KC 9 - SD 8.5 - OAK 6.5
At first glance I don't think the Jets can win 7 games. Seems like a safe bet, either you push or win.
The NFC East looks appealing. They have all 4 teams winning more than 8 games. Pick and choose here. Which means some under bets will look appealing. I would say Dallas under 9.5 and Philly under 8.5. All those teams can't win 9 or more games...can they? Well, of course they theoretically can...I just don't think so. Giants over 9 and win the division in my eyes.
Any thoughts? Current Mood: amused

Well, I went against myself and took Tampa Bay (-3) instead of Washington like I said I would and I lost $10.
Then on Sunday I took the Giants (-3) and lost $20
Finally, Sunday afternoon I put $50 on the over (46.5) in the Pit/Cin game and won that (didn't look good 3 plays into the Bengals first drive when Palmer was face down on the ground) but I won $48.20 on that so overall I won $18.20. Big spender huh! Current Mood: happy

Interesting weekend for betting coming up. First off, the Giants. I love the -2.5 point spread. I have only had one person tell me they don't like the Giants in this game. I'm waiting to hear from ghostfaktory but he's been pretty busy lately with work and other stuff. My overall feelings on this weekend:
Carolina @ New York Giants -2.5 = Giants -2.5 HIGH CONFIDENCE
Carolina @ New York Giants o/u 43.5 = Over MODERATE CONFIDENCE
Washington @ Tampa Bay -2.5 = Washington +3 LOW CONFIDENCE
Washington @ Tampa Bay o/u 37 = Under HIGH CONFIDENCE (i see a 17-13 type game here)
Jacksonville @ New England - 7.5 = New England -7.5 MODERATE CONFIDENCE
Jacksonville @ New England o/u 37 = Over HIGH CONFIDENCE
Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati +3 = Pittsburgh -3 HIGH CONFIDENCE
Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati o/u 46 = Over MODERATE CONFIDENCE Current Mood: mellow
